1.The meaning of container seal

The container seal is a one-time lock on the container, indicating whether the container has been opened during transportation. There is a unique seal number on the container seal. If the customer receives a container seal number that matches the BL, it means that the container has not been opened and the goods are in good condition. The lock sleeve and lock core of the container seal are made of metal, wrapped in ABS plastic, and the lock body is a clamp spring structure. 2. Classification of container seal

1)  According to the person who applied the seal, it can be divided into: factory seal (factory seal, which is added by the export factory), customs lock (customs seal, which is added by the customs), ship seal (shipping company seal, which is added by the shipping company), and temporary dock seal (temporary dock seal, which is added by the dock). The use of temporary dock seals is very rare, usually only used in two situations. One is when the seal on the back door is accidentally damaged during unloading, and the dock temporarily seals the container. The other is when the container is unloaded and opened inside the dock, and the consignee takes away the first batch of goods. In order to avoid disputes, temporary dock seals are added.

2) According to the material and function of the seal, it can be divided into: High security seal, Digital anti-theft seal, Bullet seal, Iron sheet seal, Steel wire plastic seal, Plastic seal, Anti-theft lead seal, Ordinary seal, etc.

3. The usage process of container seal

1) After the goods are loaded, the responsible person for shipment, the inspector for shipment, the supervisor, and the carrier shall conduct a final verification.

2) After verifying the accuracy, the locksmith promptly closed the door and locked the cabinet under the supervision of the supervisory personnel.

3) After closing the container door, the locksmith promptly seals the container door with a sealing strip.

4) After confirming the correctness of the container sealing, the container lock manager shall promptly keep a record of the sealing.
