China Shipping Container Types

These containers are used when certain types of goods must be stored or transported, such as large machinery, food or liquids and chemicals. In particular, reefer containers are heavily used in international transport for transporting medicines and (fresh) food.

The most popular containers are the 20FT, 40FT and 40FT High Cube (HC) variants. 10ft containers are not suitable for shipping and are therefore less common. 40ft Shipping Container Class A High Cube

Since these containers are slightly taller (about 30 cm) than normal containers, there is more space for storing goods. So the advantage of a tall cube container is that you can transport (or store) more cargo in one container. These 40ft tall cube shipping containers are perfect for storage and shipping purposes. Additionally, these containers can be modified to exactly meet your requirements, such as placing windows, doors or shutters and installing lighting or other electronics. The shipping containers are stackable and can be handled using cranes and/or forklifts.

20ft Container A Quality

This 20ft sea container has A-grade quality and is suitable for storing or transporting different types of cargo. The container can be completely modified, such as placing windows, doors or installing lights or other electronics. The containers are stackable and can be handled using cranes and/or forklifts.

In addition to size, there are differences between new and old containers. CIMC Equilink offers Class A and Class B containers. In some cases, used containers may be more attractive.

A completely deprecated container is an interesting option if the container is for storage rather than shipping. A disapproved container has no CSC-certification. For refrigerated transport or refrigerated storage solutions, check out reefer containers.
