The Cross Member of the container is generally a stamped C-shaped steel member made of SPA-H Corten Steel, and it is one of the most important parts of the container parts. The thickness of Cross Member is generally 4mm or 4.5mm. The width of the upper and lower wing plates is 45mm, and the upper wing plate of the wide side Cross Member is 75mm. The height is generally 122mm. Of course, the size of the Cross Member for container repair can be customized according to the actual needs of customers. Generally speaking, the customizable width of the upper and lower wings is 20mm~80mm and the height is 80mm~130mm.

One 20’GP Dry Container generally requires 14 pieces Cross Members, 12 pieces narrow side Cross Members, plus 2 pieces wide side Cross Members. These Cross Members are evenly distributed at the bottom of the 20’GP container, and their front and rear ends can be welded to the Bottom Side Rail. The placement position of the wide side Cross Members is that the short end is below and the long end is above, and it is mainly convenient for the lap joint of the two container Plywood.
