How to maintain the trailer rim？

1. When the temperature of the rim is high, it should be allowed to cool naturally before cleaning, and must not be cleaned with cold water. Otherwise, the aluminum alloy rim will be damaged, and even the brake disc will be deformed and the braking effect will be affected. In addition, cleaning the rim with detergent at high temperature will cause chemical reaction on the surface of the rim, tarnish and affect the appearance.

2. When the trailer rim is stained with hard-to-remove asphalt, if the general cleaning agent does not help, try to remove it with a brush, but do not use a hard brush, especially an iron brush, so as not to damage the surface of the rim.

3. To clean the hub, you can use paint thinner to wipe around the scar to remove the dirt. The deepest scratches are difficult to remove, so use a toothpick to clean it thoroughly. When cleaning, in order to prevent accidental painting of unrelated parts, it is best to carefully stick tape around the scar. When there are stains on the surface of the wheel hub that are difficult to remove, professional cleaning agents should be used. This cleaning agent can often gently and effectively remove the stains and reduce damage to the aluminum alloy surface. There is a metal protective film on the hub itself, so special care should be taken not to use paint brighteners or other abrasive materials when cleaning.

4. After finishing the brush tip, apply decorative paint to the damaged parts of the wheel hub. After the paint dries, paint it to protrude a little, which is convenient for the owner to observe.

5. After the finishing paint is completely dry, apply it with water-resistant paper dipped in soapy water to make the surface smooth. Then use the mixture to rub out the shine, and finally apply the wax.

6. If you find that there are deep scars on the hub, and you must observe whether the metal surface is exposed, if you can't see the metal surface, it will not rust, you can concentrate on painting the finishing paint. Dab it on with the tip of the pen and wait for the paint to dry completely. If you find exposed metal, it is best to replace it.
